On the morning of June 22nd, the launch conference for the new packaging and product upgrade of Li brand lubricating oil came to an end in Weihai. The launch of the ESC series SP/GF-6 new engine lubricating oil is a significant breakthrough product developed by Nippon Paint Lubricants based on their rich experience and technology in lubricating oil related to the new standards. Since May 2020, the API ILSAC certification body has been conducting the first batch of certification for the new engine lubricant performance standard SP/GF-6. This is the second time in 10 years that SP/GF-6 has been released as a new standard for automotive engine lubricants, following the introduction of the SN/GF-5 standard.

Compared to SN/GF-5, SP/GF-6 has been optimized and upgraded in various aspects. It not only further improves fuel economy, cleanliness and sediment removal, long-lasting oxidation resistance, and friction prevention, but also adds new certification projects and standards for LSPI prevention and protection of timing chain wear resistance on this basis. By relying on these two points, engine damage caused by abnormal combustion can be effectively improved, providing more comprehensive protection for the engine.
